So many of us are justifiably proud of our ancestors who selflessly defended our country in wars fought far from home. That pride leads us to research the history of these loved ones so on May 15, at ANZAC Cottage, the Friends of ANZAC Cottage will give you the opportunity to explore a resource that will aid in your understanding and may even reveal unknown secrets.
The good folk from the Western Australian Military Digital Library will reveal at 2.30 pm the contents of this valuable resource and how you can use it to assist in your research.
ANZAC Cottage and grounds will be open to explore between 2.00–4.00 pm. However, numbers for the talk at 2.30 pm are limited so please arrive on time to secure your place for the presentation. First in best dressed.
Come along to ANZAC Cottage at 38 Kalgoorlie Street, Mount Hawthorn, on May 15 and leave armed with more knowledge to further your research.
Entry by donation, but bookings are essential. Please visit anzaccottagemay22.eventbrite.com.au or call Anne on 0411445582 or email friendsofanzaccottage@gmail.com to make your booking.
The Friends of ANZAC Cottage acknowledges the support and encouragement of the National Trust of Western Australia. ANZAC Cottage is managed by the National Trust on behalf of the community and the Government of Western Australia.
