Safer Internet Day Virtual Event with AFLW star Tayla Harris

The internet can at times be a dark and lonely place.

But together we can make it a much kinder and safer one.

On Tuesday February 9 the Y’s National Safeguarding Unit is proud to host a free Safer Internet Day Virtual Event.

The theme is ‘Together for a better internet’ which focuses on our shared responsibility to make the internet a kinder and safer place for all.

AFLW star Tayla Harris will be sharing her personal experiences and some invaluable lessons for us to take on board.

We will also hear from the eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant on the future of eSafety in Australia which includes a sneak peek of the ‘’Stay Safe Online, Tell Someone’’ project launching nation-wide this year.

This is a great opportunity for people of all ages including kids to learn about internet safety so we encourage you to invite friends, family members, colleagues and teachers.
